It almost feels like the world is going to end.

Google is down! For those people currently working from home that may be using Google products such as G Suite or even educational settings that use Google Meet- it seems like a day off is in order. According to Down Detector, there have been over 20,000 down reports of Google over the past half an hour. You might even notice that non-google products such as Discord are a bit slower too!
Even the website that we check to see if websites are down, DownDetector went offline momentarily. This kind of equates to a remote learning snow day doesn't it?
There have been over 806 thousand tweets about the issues that the tech giant is facing. At the moment- things like GMail, Google Drive and YouTube aren't working. Hopefully they will resolve the issues soon..
Update 12:40PM - Issues have been mostly fixed
As I mentioned earlier on- you may have noticed that some other non-google platforms are being effected by this. This is because that some products that people develop are hosted on the Google Cloud Platform. For example- Discord. Earlier on today they also created a status on their status page stating that they were investigating elevated error rates and latency across all of Discord. For example- their API, Media Proxy and Push Notifications.
It just shows how much we rely on tech giants doesn't it.
