Ninja returns to Twitch.

Last year, Ninja left Twitch to move to Mixer. At the time, Mixer was a new player in the streaming game. Ninja used to have one of the biggest channels on Twitch. It was reported in various news outlets that he reportedly got paid between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. This was only just to move over to the Microsoft owned service. He provided a statement at the time.

As I look at the next step in my career, achieving bigger goals in the gaming industry with Mixer will allow me to have the perfect balance of opportunities and success. My roots as a gamer started with Halo, so working with Microsoft and coming over to Mixer felt like a natural next step. Capturing all the great moments in gaming and sharing in the wins and losses with a positive, community-focused environment that we can all be proud of — that’s why I’m here.

It was announced in June that Mixer was shutting down on July 22nd and partnering with Facebook Gaming. Ninja was free to return to other platforms after that date.

Today, Ninja has announced on his Twitter that he will be returning to Twitch. The tweet linked below showed a few things including new emojis for his Twitch account. Whilst there has been no confirmed date for him to return to the platform- it is reportedly soon.
