TruckersMP players. We have the news you have been waiting for!

The players of the modification have been waiting for the past 2 months to play the new and improved versions of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. The developers of TruckersMP have been working hard to try and bring the update to players. In a development update posted on the TruckersMP forums, mwl4, one of the developers, said this:

The TruckersMP project has really tough architectural foundations. We read and write data (memory) from / to the engine. To do this, we need to define a correct memory layout in our code. Since we don't have access to the game's source code, we need to duplicate the look of the source code at SCS. However, it's not an easy task if you don't have direct access to this code.

We're really excited to start playing the new update, so let's remind you of some of the new features in this update!

• Lille in France has had a re skin. Updated road junctions, layouts, new buildings and assets too.
• GPS Route Adviser now shows useful information such as the distance to the next checkpoint and ETA through the GPS and world map.
• DAF XF Tuning Pack now has the ability for truck chassis covers to be painted.
• The FH tuning pack has some new parts like front wheel covers, side deflectors, stock front bumpers and rear top fenders with plastic and chrome options.
